WOW!!! We are right where we are suppose to be!!!!

Wow! I truly believe God has us right where we are suppose to be. Let me tell you of a little story that happen to us this past Sunday.

Before we came to Honduras we stayed at a bed and breakfast in Algonquin, IL. It was an amazing place and Ms.Sherry was an awesome hospitable woman. We were able to tell her about the Celebrate Recovery program we are bringing to Honduras and she said that her church has a Celebrate Recovery. We said, wow we need to go and check it out. So, we did go and check it out and it was amazing. We were able to talk with Dave, the man who runs it. He told us that they go to Honduras every year. We were astonished. What was even better is that they work with a ministry that is 30 minutes away from our language school. He said when they come down in November they will have to show us the place where they work and to meet the people there they work with. Well, here is the good part. This past Sunday a couple that goes to the same school as us asked us to go to church with them and that it was a bilingual service. So, we said yes. We went and had a great time and after the service was over they have coffee and snacks so that people can talk and socialize. We met another American couple there and was conversating with them and come to find out they run the organization our friends from Illinois we’re going to introduce us to in November. God is amazing. So I was able to tell my buddy Dave that I met his buddy Tristan. Dave was astonished. Here is a picture of me and Tristan (the man who runs the organization that my friend Dave was telling me about.)

So, after that time with them at the church we explored a little bit of a small city called Comayagua. We got to see one of the oldest clocks in the world. We also got to see the oldest bell tower in the Americas and a very old piped organ. Here are a few pics from the day.

We have been having a great time here and have got to serve too while in school. Today we went to a nursing home. This nursing home is very special because it is a home for elderly that have been left behind. They usually never have any visitors. We got to sing to them and hang out with them for about an hour and a half. Here are a few pics from the nursing home.

Thank y’all for being a part of bringing CR to Honduras. We will be working our hardest to learn the language.
