Update: THIS STORM HAS BOWED DOWN TO GOD!!

I want to start by thanking y'all for faithfully praying for me these past 2 1/2 months since my miscarriage. A week ago I went under sedation and had a full D&C. I have been bleeding ever since my miscarriage on April 1, 2020....but today proclaim that THIS STORM HAS BOWED DOWN TO GOD! Every night Tyler and I listened and sang to God, as an act of worship, the song "Bow Down" by West Ridge Church that a friend sent me (lyrics and link for the song below). The writers of the song wrote it after going through 3 miscarriages and I could so relate to the lyrics during my own struggle with this miscarriage. Listening to this song and signing it at night with Tyler in the bed as an act of worship to God was such sweet fellowship time with the Lord! This blog may not be long, but I just want to PRAISE GOD for healing my body. God always guides and uses people along the way to help...he provided great friends of encouragement, friends who helped me find a good doctor here in Honduras, a sweet Jesus loving friend helping me see the negative effects of birth control and synthetic hormones, and the best guide of all THE HOLY SPIRIT!!!

There is a saying that you are either walking into a storm

in the middle of a storm

or walking out of a storm.

I am reminded of the story in Mark 4:35-41 "JESUS CALMS THE STORM"...

35 On that day, when evening had come, he said to them,“Let us go across to the other side.”36 And leaving the crowd, they took him with them in the boat, just as he was. And other boats were with him.37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waveswere breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling.38 But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?”39 And he awoke andrebuked the wind and said to the sea,“Peace! Be still!”And the wind ceased, andthere was a great calm.40 He said to them,“Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?”41 And they were filled with great fear and said to one another,“Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

In this story the disciples went through all 3 phases of the storm process mentioned above, but when the storm hit, they chose fear and doubting if Jesus even cared. May this day we choose FAITH over fear!! JESUS is capable of calming the storm(s) in our lives (of course in his time and his way), but what he is looking for is FAITH. I am not sure what phase of the storm process above you are in, but I know that God is faithful and he desires to help. May we continually be a people who dance in the storm knowing that our God never fails and cry out to him for help BELIEVING he can help!

Blessings to y'all!!! Virtual Hugs from Honduras!
