Up, Up and Away - January/February Blog
Hello! What's up everyone? I can't wait to tell y'all what I've done the last 2 months.
We TRAVELED to the states.
Culture Shock
Man oh man, while we were in the states I had the blast of my life. It was like one of those back to the future movies...extreme culture shock. Seeing the new cars, new phones and new clothing styles kinda made me feel like a dinosaur. When I went to Walmart it was shocking that there were 50 kinds of chips. It was very shocking to see what it's like in the states today.
Friends and Family
My favorite part of traveling was seeing our family, friends, and ordering stuff for my chess club on amazon. I haven't seen my papaw and nana or my childhood friends in a long time. It was awesome connecting with friends and family. We talked, we laughed, and made new memories. I hope to see them again soon.

Christian Concert
A highlight of my trip to the states was attending a Christian concert. I went to "Winter Jam" with a youth group. It was worth the long drive and long lines. I got to worship with Austin French, Ann Wilson, New Song, Disciple, We the Kingdom, Jeremy Camp and my absolute favorites Andy Mineo and Lacre. I had a tremendous time and I got a great souvenir, a Winter Jam sweatshirt. I can't wait until the next concert.

Chess Club
This is such a God story! The church we attended prior to the mission field listened to our presentation and how we are serving in Honduras. I shared that I was going to start a chess club. I got money to buy materials: 5 chess sets and 2 electronic chess sets. I can't wait to start soon. Stay tuned to find out more about this chess club.
