Hurricane Eta and a Special day!!

Hey guys, it's Messiah. Sorry that I'm late again. Last week was pretty slow on ministry because we had a storm. We went to Celebrate Recovery yesterday, and I sang "Chain Breaker". Next week, I'm going to sing it in Spanish. On Sunday, I went to church and worshipped. We sang "Graves into Gardens", "Yes I Will", "Chain Breaker", and Great Are You Lord". Paula and I were the only ones who sang, and like always, it was a blessing. I am so happy that I get to worship here.

The hurricane didn't hit us here on the island. We only had the outskirts. I'm glad that it was just a little wind and rain. The wheather was actually refreshing. Though we didn't get hit, the mainland and countries below us did. Parts of Honduras flooded and got destroyed. Many people lost their houses and if you look at pictures, it is devistating. If y'all could pray for those people, that would be awesome, because they need it.

Yesterday was a special day for my family. 8 years ago, is when we came to our parent's house. It feels longer than 8 years, but it's been only 8. I'm glad to be here because now, I have dreams. My parents pulled me through and now I'm going to college.

Now for the song of the week...

The song for this week is "Highlands (Song of Ascents) by Hillsong UNITED.

Here is the link...

I love this song because it was written based on Psalm 120-134. The people of Israel sang these songs when ascending the mountian to go to Jerusalem for the Passover. I love the part that says "I will praise you on the mountians, and I will praise you when the mountian's in my way 'cause you're the summit where my feet are, so I will praise you in the valleys all the same, no less God within the shadows, no less faithful when the night leads me astray, 'cause your the heaven where my heart is, In the highlands and the heartache all the same." We need to praise God on the mountian, and when the mountian is in our way. I also love the part that says "So whatever I run through wherever I am, your name can move the mountians wherever I stand, and if ever I walk through the valley of death, I'll sing within the shadows my song of ascents." He can move and beat anything that he wants to. When we're in the valley of the shadow of death, we should sing our song of ascents and praise.

Thank y'all for reading my blog, and I will talk to yall next week.
