Severe Ear Problems
Hey all. We are doing good. As you know Lorenda is visiting her brother and is doing very well there. I am very glad she was able to go there and be with him while he is dealing with cancer. I ask that you continue to pray for him and his family while he is battling this crazy disease called cancer. He is suppose to have surgery on the 22nd of December and he is getting his kidney removed. Lorenda should be returning back here on the 19th of this month.
I have been dealing with a severe infection in my ear. I have been dealing with this for almost a month now. When it first started I waited 8 days before going to the doctor. That was my bad. They said it was a bacterial infection so I went through two weeks of antibiotics and it never got better. Finally, the doctor said that I need to see a specialist. So, they called in a specialist to see me and he said that I had a severe fungal infection that was going down my canal and looked like it was surrounding my eardrum. The specialist said that the antibiotics was feeding the fungus. So, it grew rapidly. Now, they have me on some fungal medications and fungal ear drops. He said that it is going to get worse before it gets better. I am in a lot of pain and I can’t be around loud noise or lots of people because it causes an echo in my ear. He also said that my eardrum is very inflamed and that my eardrum could rupture if I am not careful. So, I am asking for prayer for healing and that the doctors can get this figured out.

This is the first IV that I got getting antibiotics.

This is where I got a port put in so that I could go to the doctor daily to get antibiotics.
We are still working strong for the Lord. God is so good. We are working at the rehab teaching the Bible three days a week. We are also having a CR at the rehab on Monday nights to celebrate the Recovery of these men and women that are recovering from drugs, alcohol, and prostitution. God is on the move. Just recently three women have accepted Christ and one man has recommitted his life to the Lord. We are teaching them about love, respect, and self-control through Jesus Christ. We have created a great relationship with them and they call us family. Just like it is said in CR, we are forever family!!!! Please continue to pray that more will come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ!!! We will soon be starting a CR after the new year for all people on the island. We are so excited on what God is doing here on the island of Roatan.
I want to thank you all for your support and prayers. Without you all this would not be able to happen.
Thanks and God bless,
