Roatan, Honduras here we are to serve the Lord!
Updated: Aug 21, 2020
This won't be too long as I am exhausted from moving. We made it to Roatan, Honduras (an island of Honduras off of the north shore) to serve the Lord full time, but the journey getting here was super tiring.
Here's a run down of what it took to move here...
The night (Sunday August 16th) we were packing the car, a storm came with really bad rain. We usually love the rain, but this time it was a concern because we had luggage to put on the top of the car. After waiting a few hours, we realized that the rain was not giving up, so we went to bed praying and hoping when we woke up at (1am on Monday August 17th) to prepare to leave, that the rain would stop so we could load the top of the car with our luggages. (GOD heard y'all's prayers) Well PRAISE GOD the rain stopped just enough time for us to get the luggage on and PRAISE GOD that our landlord in Comayagua had a tarp we could use for the ride. In the past, I would stress out in these situations, but God gave me a peace during this reminding me that he has it all planned out and to just have faith. After packing the car, we left for Island Shipping in La Ceiba so that we could drop off our car and belongings to get shipped to the island for us to pick up the next day. It took us 6 hours to drive to La Ceiba and we got to the shipping place right when they opened at 8am. They helped us very quickly because they knew we had to get to the airport asap to check in for a 10:30am flight. Island Shipping not only checked in our bags and car quickly, but they also helped us get a taxi who got us to the airport right at 9am, the time the airport said we needed to be there at the latest. Phew...I'm getting exhausted just retelling the story. Then we got on a tiny appx. 19 seater airplane and took a quick 15 minute plane ride to the island. After arriving, we had to get some groceries and head to our friends condos where would would be staying while house hunting. They are missionary friends and are a GOD SEND. They are so helpful and we are eternally grateful for all of their help! We only stayed with them for a couple of days as God had the perfect place for our family of 4 to live.

Stay tuned to next weeks blog to hear all about the amazingness of GOD and how he lined everything up for where we are living (it's a long story and will take a whole post)....we have a GOOD GOOD FATHER!!
Our blessing from God (a 2 bed 1.5 bath house that we are renting on the beach). I will write about this in detail next week and share more pictures/videos....

We have felt you cover us in your prayers and the Lord has helped in so many ways....we know the power of prayer and ask that you come alongside us in these specific ways this week please.....
PRAYERS:
*Please pray that we would get accustomed to the mosquitos and sand flies (These bugs are loving sucking our blood. We were told it just takes a little bit of time...6 months..to get used to it and bug spray is liquid gold.)
*Please pray that we settle into our new home and build godly relationships with our neighbors...they are all amazing and it feels like one big family.
*Please pray that our meeting with Dylon Price, the leader of the rehab, goes well and is productive for the Lords's work. We look forward to getting to know him and those in the rehab better, as well as serve alongside them.
Night y'all!
