Quarantine Day # 10...God is still good!

Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

I am thankful that in the middle of a world crisis the one I put my hope in, Jesus Christ, is always the same. He is constant in the midst of chaos and confusion in the world. Thanking God for peace that he gives that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Thanking God that he works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). With just those two powerful verses I can be at peace during this time and have faith that God is working for the good!!! Super duper grateful for my daily bread....the word of God...that feeds my soul and gives me hope for the future that is ahead. God is good...all the time...and all the time...God is good!!!!

So you may be wondering what the last 10 days here in Honduras have looked like for our family. Here we have to stay in the house and can't leave unless going to a local corner store called a pulpería or to go to the hospital. We have had food delivered in various creative ways...see the pictures below.

A typical day in our house involves

*Morning Bible reading (we're reading through the Bible in a year)

*Homeschool with Messiah and Guenther

*Family Time (cards, movies, etc)

*Connecting with others online

--various days involve behind the scenes ministry work

--various days we have watched Facebook live church service

We are hoping to start back up our classes on Monday, but with our cases of coronavirus increase I'm not sure on Sunday they are going to let us get back to moving around about the country. Numbers wise...we have 52 cases in the country, but none are in the town that we live in PRAISE GOD!! We will keep you updated once the country makes a decision on Sunday whether to keep the "Quedate en casa"/"Stay at home" order or if they loosen it a little bit. We are healthy physically, spiritually and mentally. Keep praying for us as we continue to be used for the glory of God here in Honduras. We love y'all and are praying for y'all. We were hoping to visit in July/August, but we will keep you posted based on travel allowances.

Dios le bendiga/God bless you
