NO LIGHTS, NO ACTION!
This week was good, but weird at the same time. We were invited to a semi-professional soccer game, and we were super excited about it. Once we got there, we sat and waited. ( It’s about six o’clock at this point). So we waited, but the lights never came on. Then to make matters worse, it started to rain super hard. We had to take shelter under the concrete stands until it stopped. (7:30) the rain finally stopped and we had to sit on wet bleachers. At this point, I was getting really aggravated. (8:00) Finally, two hours later, they announced that the game was not going to play tonight, because they couldn’t get the lights to work. I WAS MAD. We sat there and waited 2 HOURS for nothing!!!
We went home, ate dinner and went to bed. We can go to any upcoming game for free. On a good note, we’ve had good workouts. For all of you who know CrossFit, you know how hard it is. I finally did my first muscle-up. For y’all who don’t know what that is, I believe it’s the second hardest thing to do in CrossFit.
Also, I did 12 double-unders. That’s where the jump rope goes under twice before your feet hit the ground. This is a continuous motion, and you try to do it unbroken. We also got to hang out with a friend and watch the Secrete Life of Pets 2. If you’ve never seen it, you need to because it is hilarious. I’ve had a great time doing language school and I’m learning a lot to improve my Spanish. That’s all I have for y’all this week. See y’all next Monday. Thanks for reading my blog.
