NEW HOUSE and a LOT OF FUN!!!
Hello guys. This week has been one of the best weeks in Honduras. For the first time in 46 days, I got to exit the house from quarantine, and it was awesome. The reason I got to get out is because we were moving to our new house that we looked at in January. This house is great for quarantine because we have back yard space for playing sports and a pool. We have a basketball court, and we have a small soccer field. We also have a patio that has a pool table and a foosball table.
While in the process of moving, my family and I didn't forget to have fun. We listened to music, got pictures, and made the best of our time. For me, it wasn't a problem because I love getting up and going to start a new life somewhere else. I don't know why, but I guess it's in my blood, or from moving so much in foster care. When I got to get out, I enjoyed all of the scenery of everything while we were driving. The saying is true when they say that you don't know how much something means to you until you lose it. I really missed the scenery of all the trees. It's kind of sad because Honduras has been under a nation-wide fire and when you went by the trees, you saw where the fire burned everything. Sometimes, you can see where the fire stopped just a few feet of where a house was.
I have played every day that I've been here. My brother and I have done everything that there is to do, from playing foosball, to walking around the garden. The garden here is great because they have a lot of things. There is yuca, nanci, bananas, papaya, corn, lemons, oranges, and mangos. Not everything is in season, and some trees are just babies, so we'll have to wait a while. The thing I like to do most except for basketball is play foosball. I'm happy we moved here. Though it's not as good as going out and about for a walk, it sure does beat a house where we can't play at all in our back yard. I do miss my mangos in the back yard though.
Here are a few pictures of the house, and what we get to do every day.

NOW FOR THE SONG OF THE WEEK: Remember to comment and say what the song means to you.
The song for this week is called "Just Be" by Kim Walker-Smith https://youtu.be/wI-ulpVhFAs
I like this song because its kind of like "Nothing Else" by Cody Carnes. "Just be" Is a song of complete worship to the Lord. To be at his feet is the best place to be as a believer in Jesus Christ. I love songs of adoration because it makes me feel so close to God. Whenever I am in a, trial temptation or anything, I like to sing and it helps me a lot. I don't know for y'all, but for me, when I think of being at His feet, I try to humble myself. I try to do this because I struggle with pride, my whole family can testify to that. I do everything in my power to win because I don't like to lose. When I sing this song, I use it as a humbling tool.
Thank you sooooo much for reading my blog, I really appreciate it. The next time I see y'all i'll be getting ready to go to college. Were not coming to the States this year, but we will see y'all next year Lord willing.
