Messiah at college in Texas (February update)

Hey guys, its Messiah.

I hope y’all are doing well, and are enjoying your lives. To be honest, I can’t believe that this semester is already halfway over. I think that the time went very fast. I have had such a great experience in college, and I like it. The school work is hard though, and it doesn’t get any easier. Some of the work and tests that we have are sometimes dumb and useless… like no joke. For example, one teacher was teaching that we need to meditate on God’s word like the cow chews its cud… I get that, but what he put on the test was totally dumb. He had a good idea to ask how many stomachs does a cow have. Of course I knew that because I have worked with cows and on a farm, but still, that makes no sense. My question is why in the world do we need to know how many stomachs a cow has to be a Christian leader or to lead others to Christ. To be honest, I just accept stuff and move on. Sometimes I don’t really know what they are trying to say, but o well. Honestly, sometimes I just want to skip the classes and not go, but do the work, but there is an attendance policy, so oh well.

This semester has been pretty good though. I enjoy the new people that I have met. I love where I work in my school, and a lot more. I can say that I have met more good friends than I have bad. I have had the privilege of leading worship in multiple places. I got to lead worship on the DBU chapel worship team, and I also lead worship bi-weekly at my church. There are so many more opportunities that I have for ministry. Like I said before, I am in the ministry at my church, and am an internship. I help lead Bible studies, and I also help lead worship retreats and nights. The Lord has done so much for me this semester, and I have a lot of opportunities.

Lastly, I just want to ask for prayer for something that is going personally.

Sorry I don’t have any pictures.

Prayer requests

• That the personal issue ends soon and goes back to normal

• That I have wisdom on what to do
