Loving God and Loving Others

Matthew 22:37-39- And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Loving God and loving others is a big part of our ministry. You can’t just have one or the other. Loving others while they are still in sin and helping them find Jesus is loving them like Christ loves them. We go into the rehab here to teach the Bible three times a week and we do step study questions with them. We also do a Celebrate Recovery on Monday nights. We love these guys like family, but you have to know these guys come from the deepest darkness of all. From drugs, alcohol and sexual issues. You name it they have done it. We are trying to teach them there is a way out through Jesus Christ and that he loves them right where they are. We teach that they need to have a relationship with him so that the Holy Spirit can guide them to make better choices. These guys are family to us and they know it. They know that we love them and will do anything for them. So, we ask that you pray for hearts to be changed and that they start following God’s Will and not their own. He is a great and mighty God and we know he can work miracles in these guys lives.
Thanks for all that you do.
