It has Been a Godly Week!!!!!
Hey ya'll. Had a wonderful week at the conference and Bible study on Tuesday night. First, I want to talk about how great the conference was. As you read in my last blog about the first day, I told you I will let you know more how the conference went the following week. Well, it is the following week and I am going to tell you how the rest of the weekend went at the conference. We worshiped so much at the conference and it was a blessing to hear Brad and Rebecca. They have multiple songs on youtube and spotify. They have a new song out called "Rejoice", and that song really touched my heart. If you get a chance to look it up search "Rejoice" by Brad and Rebecca and it will come up and also the rest of their songs too. We also heard some wonderful messages from multiple speakers about being strong on the field and not giving up. This past weekend was great and we cant wait till the next one next year. Thank you HFMM for a wonderful conference this year and it was great encouragement for us.

Lastly, I want to talk about Tuesday night. We have a Bible study on Tuesday nights with all the students at the Spanish Institute and with the owners of the institute. I led the Bible study this week and we were in 1 Thessalonians 4. As a lot of you know my background and my testimony, God told me to tell part of my testimony because of what 1 Thessalonians is about: Sexual Immorality, Brotherly Love, and Leading a Quiet Life.
My first question to the group was; How do we place sexual desires under Christ control? 1. HIDE scripture in our hearts for battle (1 Corinthians 6:18, Hebrews 13:4, James 4:7,8) 2. SHARE our struggles with someone we trust (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, Proverbs 27:17, Ecclesiastes 7:5, James 5:16) 3. PRAY for endurance to finish the race.
My second question; What is brotherly love? 1. Someone you can always go to when you struggle, 2. Loving unconditionally even when it is hard to do so, 3. someone you would lay your life down for, 4. To pull someone out of the fire. (1 John 2:9, 1 John 4:8, 1 John 4:20,21)
My third question; What does it mean to lead a quiet life? 1. Work Hard, show yourself worthy of who you say you are, 2. Whatever you do, do it faithfully and be a positive force in society.(Ephesians 6:7, Colossians 3:23)
I just felt lead to share my notes on what we talked about at Bible study on Tuesday night. My biggest take on it is that we need to live a positive non-negative life. Always encourage and help those around us. You never know what someone may be going through. Thank you for reading my blog and praying for us. God is so good and we love ya'll very much.
