Grieving a Loss.

This week I experienced grief for the first time. My mom one morning surprised me with great news, she told me she was pregnant. I was so excited and I vowed to be the third person to hold it. Also, I have been praying to have a baby brother since December 2017. I believe I was the most excited man in the entire world. Our family called so many people that day to tell of the wonder of God through my mom. I was so excited until that following day. My mom scheduled a doctor appointment to make sure it was still there, because the day she told us she was pregnant she was bleeding a little. We then heard that day from that day she had a miscarriage. I was so sad that day hearing that news. This was the first time in my life I had a loss.

Some of y'all know I write poetry. This week I wrote two poems one entitled God is the taker and another Grief. I wrote these poems when I was really struggling. All I know is that God has a perfect plan for our family. Continue keeping us in your prayers as my parents try to make another one.

As my dad was depressed over losing his child, I decided to try to cheer him up. My first tacktic was to read him a book in Spanish. I couldn't so I finished the story in English. Reading helped I believe a little. Second I tried dressing up like an old western cowboy. That worked a little. My final attempt was to read him my poem and that worked. Now dad is happy again. After I felt like I accomplished something very important.

P.S. God Bless y'all and I can't wait to see y'all again in maybe 10 YEARS from now, because of this virus.
