Future Home

Hi guys, it's me Messiah. I am soooooooooo excited to tell y'all that this Sunday we found a house to live in in Comaygua, Honduras. This house comes very close to being the best house that we've owned. The only other house that comes close to it was our lake house in Alabama. I loved our house in Alabama because I got to do my favorite thing in the world out of my back yard: fish. Now I also get to do my other favorite thing in the world in my back yard: swim, play basketball, soccer, pool, and foosball. I'm so excited to move there in September, and can't wait. One of my favorite parts of the house is the cabana. In the cabana, there is a pool table, a foosball table, an outside tv for watching sports, a grill, a stove, and a feeding bar. Also, behind the big backyard, there is a huge farm. I'm excited for this because we have mangoes, lemons, nanci (a Honduran fruit), corn, papaya, bananas, and more. In this house, we have a lot of space for teams if they would want to come in, and it's also a help for ministry in our church. I'm so happy that we're going to be living here in 8 months, and can't wait to see what God has in store for us.

This Sunday we received certificates for the classes that we took, and now we are ready to serve in the church. I have come to the realization that I need to humble myself and clean toilets, or whatever the church needs me to do. I remember the verse Colossians 3:23, and I need to keep that in my mind. I need to work for the Lord, and when I do that, I won't worry about the poop crusties on the toilet. I'm happy that God led us to the church that we are at right now, because I know that this is home. The church that we are at is home, and even though I grew up in the States, I know that Honduras is my home. I feel a deep connection to Honduras, and I know that I always will. I mean don't get me wrong, I love the United States, and I will always be an earthly citizen there, but I also love Honduras. I'm happy that we're here!!!

My classes in Spanish class are going great, and I'm learning the description of places, and I'm about to start learning the irregular verbs. I can't wait to start, and get further along in my Spanish.

I can't wait to see y'all come down here. We're just one phone call and booked flight ticket away, and we've got room : )
