Back from seeing my brother in Illinois...right back in ministry

Hey y’al!!! Sorry you haven’t heard from me in a few weeks, I went to the states for 3 weeks to be with my brother who is battling cancer.

He was taking chemo, which was making him very sick. I was really worried about him. So after prayer and talking with my husband, we decided that I would take a quick trip alone to check on him. It was a difficult time because he was really sick, but was good to be with the family during this difficult time. He just had surgery on the 22nd and is recuperating. Please continue to pray for him and the rest of my family.

Since being back, I jumped right back into ministry. I LOVE serving at the rehab!!!! I look forward to Celebrate Recovery on Monday nights at the rehab and teaching 3 days a week at the rehab. Seeing people change drastically by the power of Jesus in their lives is AMAZING!!!

The students at the rehab right now...

Three of the ladies I work with at the rehab accepted Christ and got baptized!!!! Three guys accepted the Lord and got baptized as well!!! God is on the move here in Honduras. Right before being baptized...

A couple that recently graduated (spent 3 months at the rehab recuperating) is super special to us. We were not only their teachers during the week and encouragers, but we were able to sponsor them during their three months at the rehab as they didn’t have anyone to cover the costs of attending the program. They have become family and we are so proud of them. They are 2 of the 6 I just mentioned that received Christ as their personal Savior and got baptized. We will take them Saturday to catch the ferry to reunite with their family on the main land. We are super excited to see them go and serve the Lord in their community.

The team that helped these 2 recuperate and the couple who recuperated {the director of the rehab (Dylon) sitting in the chair, a friend (Kristal) of the couple standing next to me was the main one explaining and encouraging them to enter the rehab, our family, the couple (Monica and Hector) who graduated from 3 months recuperating at the rehab}....

Being a part of what God is doing here in Honduras is a blessing. Thank you for your support both in prayer and financially.
