Adventures With Dad!!!!!
Hello! How are all of you doing? I had the greatest time of my life this month.
Adventure #1 - Catamaran Tour
For the first time in 15 years I got to actually hop on a catamaran and instead of watching others party, I got to let them see me party for my dad's 38th birthday. Can you believe it? We got to experience how it is to live like a king. The boat had four bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and an outside patio. My dad's birthday was awesome, and I would do it all over again. The only bad part was that my mom could not be here to enjoy it with us. Maybe next time if God wills or how the islanders say it, "If God spare life." Stay tuned for our next adventure.
Adventure #2 - Surprise Party
Friday the 14th at 5:00pm I helped organize a surprise party for my dad. With the help of two others we got it done. The thing was, I was supposed to invite people to come and bring the cargo, which was my dad. My dad then got curious because I told him our friend Gary wants to meet you at Tranquil Seas (the restaurant) to give you something. I think he knew right away what we were doing. Anyways, we still surprised him with the amount of people that showed up and most of all having him a cake, that he chose not to eat. Overall it was really fun and I know he had a blast.
Adventure #3 - RNJ Construction (Mission Team)
Whew, two days out of the week I put my construction hat on working with professional contractors. I helped build walls for the learning center the church is building. The more elaborate name is The Elaine Curtis Center. I used my shortness for something useful. The deal was I was the only one that could go into a water tank and wash it. Don't get me wrong now this tank could hold 10,000 liters of water. It was humungous! I felt like a hamster in a hamster wheel. It was scary but cool. It would be a cool summer home. Lol. For helping out I got an official RNJ Construction t-shirt. I was the MVW (Most Valuable Worker). It was an honor to help out.
